Southgard

OK thinking about creating my own lands indepenent but closely aligned with Lord Henry.  Southgard is what I'm contemplating as the working title

The Black area would be potentially under his control covering the Gudrin and the Little Sellen river valleys though that is a longer term plan.

Ferox

Domitius recently had one of his families Taldan Molossus hounds sent down as a guard dog.  Well trained by Barbatius he will no doubt prove useful when exploring the Stolen Lands.

Alisa D'Medvyed

Domitius has become enamored of this young lady, whilst it is early days in their relationship the couple seem to be getting along well.

Alisa is a cleric of the fallen goddess Acavna and her faith seems to have struck something in Domitius.  He has already discussed plans on assisting her in building a temple to her goddess

 Description

As half-elf women tend to go, Alisa is shorter than many, nearer to the average of a human.   She is on the slender side, yet more curvy than some of such mixed blood. Her eyes are a dark human brown,  complexion light tan, hair pure elvish white, like new winter snow. She tends to wear it in a distinctive and formal braid, the origin of which most would be hard pressed to say. Her clerical raiment is dusk blue, white, and silver trimmed, though more commonly she's grey-cloaked, and suited up in studded leather armor.

The finely crafted spear she bears is reflected in the silver sigil that hangs about her throat -- a pair of spears crossed atop a full moon.

Story:   Those who've spent time in the lands of the Medvyed, in eastern Brevoy, may recall a particular ill-fated romance. Betwixt Trevor D'Medvyed, middle son of a local Master, and a pale haired fey beauty most thought to be some denizen of the Gronzi forest.   The relationship ran long and seriously enough to produce a child, a daughter, whom the couple briefly raised together after marrying.  But ended in heartbreak for Trevor when his elfin lady love departed, not to be seen again.   For whatever reason, she did not take the child with her, leaving Trevor as sole parent.

As Alisa grew, there were whispers and gossip as to the nature of her lineage.    With the general regard the Medvyed feel toward the fey, these were nothing that detrimented her life.   And those close to Trevor knew she was nothing more unusual than a half-elf.    Even so, the whispers that Alisa began to hear at adolescence were unusual.   Spoken by one who was never physically there.  She'd no way of knowing her mother's people could hear the same, in their home at the Spire.

Alisa became scarce as she grew toward womanhood.   Some said that she was spending time with some secret love, while others that she was involved in some sort of apprenticeship.     And neither was entirely wrong, if still far off the truth.    Eventually, she presented herself with the trappings and powers of a fully anointed cleric.

The silver holy symbol she wears -- crossed spears over a full moon -- do not represent any god who is broadly known in the present day.     Though some versed in Azlanti history and religion may recognize the sigil of Acavna -- a goddess said to have perished centuries ago, in the cataclysm of the Earthfall.

Acavna

Acavna is a now long-forgotten deity of the Azlanti people, who was dedicated to the moon and to defensive battle. She is said to have vanished shortly before Earthfall. The only known references to her existence can be found in the ancient ruined city of Saventh-Yhi in the Mwangi Expanse, and in an ancient Azlanti temple nearby.

History

What few know is that Acavna died trying to protect the Azlanti from the destruction of Earthfall. When she learned of the aboleths' plan to destroy the continent, she pulled Golarion's moon from its orbit to intercept the massive meteorite. The impact with the moon shattered the world-killing projectile into thousands of pieces, but did not slow or deflect it from its course. Instead, its shards inflicted lethal wounds on the goddess' physical manifestation. Distraught by her death, the Azlanti god of magic, Amaznen, sacrificed himself to render the remaining deadly aboleth magic clinging to the meteorite fragments inert, transforming it from a world-killer to one that, while still incredibly destructive, gave life on Golarion a chance to survive. When it impacted with Golarion, it completely obliterated the continent of Azlant and plunged the world into the Age of Darkness, but thanks to Acavna and Amaznen did not cause the death of all life on Golarion.

Acavna's corpse plummeted into the site of an abandoned Celwynvian observatory, obliterating the structure and penetrating deep into the planet's crust. The Mordant Spire rose from her grave, formed from the essence of her soul as it attempted to reach Pharasma's Boneyard. The elves who currently inhabit the spire are said to be able to hear the whispers of Acavna even now, thousands of years after her death.

After her death, her former herald Shieldwarden Olhondias used parts of her planar realm to shore up the refuge for outcast outsiders, Basrakal, in the Maelstrom.

Sir Kendrick Winters

Sir Kendrick has become fast friends with Domitius, the two of them have plans to be the primary source of shipping goods through Midmarch, well on land at least.  They formed the Winter Sun Merchants together and have a base of operations in Ringbridge and in Tusk town currently.

Kendrick also is the owner of
Winters Wares & Spices with several outlets in Midmarch.

Description

Kendrick Winters is a tall man with an air of confidence. He wears a breastplate with an emblazoned crest of his house; a side-view of a black wolf head on a field of white. A longsword and dagger are strapped to his hip and a battleaxe to his back. A silver medallion of the sword and sun hangs on his chest.

Domitius Solanus

Domitius is my character within the game, he joined with a group of six other adventurers of whom one has retired to open a magic shop, one other is still adventuring, one died and the oethrs have moved on.

My aim is for Domitius to become an Aldori duelist, a military officer and a land owner.  He has invested in one company Winter Sun Merchants and has opened Silverstone Masonry business with the help of Hargrym Silverhammer.

Description

Domitius favoured the human side of his ancestry, he was tall for a half elf broad at the shoulder like his human grandfather and well-muscled.  Yet at the same time the way he moved betrayed his elven forbears as did the slight curve of his ears.  Good looking and well kept he has a close-cropped beard and wears his blonde hair short and out of his eyes.

His clothing is well made as befits one of his social class yet remains plain and unadorned.  Upon his left hip he carries and Aldori duelling sword careful observation will reveal the stamp of the Restov Guards upon it’s pommel.

Background

Domitius’s parents have split up with his elven father having returned to Kyonin
or so it is believed. It has been more than a year since Domitius has heard from
him. He was travelling through the River Kingdoms and his last letter to his son
said he was travelling to Mivon.

His mother remained in Restov and returned to her father’s house, they own a large
house on the outskirts of the city and a small townhouse close to the centre. It
was here that Domitius spent most of his time.

Three years ago, Domitius gained a place within the city guards as an Ensign.
He had been training with the sword from an early age and grew up to be a strapping
young man. His grandfather used his influence to smooth the path for his favourite
grandson.

About a year ago, Domitius arrested a member of the Saltikov house for the rape
and murder of a serving girl. He pressed the case and fought a duel with a member
of the house. There now exists a feud between their two houses.
